UNDERPINNING- FOUNDATION REPAIR

Helical Piles are used worldwide to rectify residential and commercial buildings  foundation settlement issue. With the Under Pinning Bracket, structure is jack up by hydraulic system and reinstate the walls, slabs to an acceptance level. Helical Pile + Anchor systems are used to transfer building load weight to bearing plates located in stable soil. This innovative system brings an economical solution to underpinning systems. 

UNDERPINNING SYSTEMS

PUSH PIER

A push pier is a series of hollow pipes fit together and pushed into the ground using a hydraulic jack. They are then anchored to the structure with pier brackets and kept in place.

HELICAL PILE

Helical piers are steel pipes fitted with helices, or screw-like plates at the end and screwed into the ground by an excavator.

RESIDENTIAL foundation REPAIR

HELICAL pile have 76mm & 89mm pipe shafts with helix  plates 254mm, 305mm & 457mm in diameter. Push Pier pipe shafts is 76mm.

HELICAL pile underpinning systems are used to transfer building load weight to bearing plates located in stable soil. This system brings an economical solution to repair works. 

PROCESS

1. Piloting underground services

Piloting underground services and removing any loose concrete in preparation for underpinning support seat.

2. Install Helical Piles

Install Helical Pile in place and set up test pile to verify pile-soil capacity. 

3. Install underpinning bracket

Install underpinning bracket with flow grout to in-fill gap between concrete beams & underpinning steel plates.

4. Jacking and lifting

Keep monitoring the building vertical movement during jacking process and lifting the structure according to design.

5. Underpinning Bracket locking

Once jacking is completed, lock the underpinning bracket to secure the building in place.
